VoIP Hardware
Telephone Adapters
Phoning from your PC is ok, but it's not likely to tempt you to replace your standard land-phone
with a low cost VoIP solution. If you want the "feel" of having a normal phone, then the solution
is to get a telephone adapter.
An adapter is a small box that you plug into your broadband router and then simply plug your standard
home phone into the other side.
aql® supply pre-configured adapters which already have been programmed to make and receive calls via
your aql® account, all you need to do is plug it in. In the event that it does not work, it will try to
send information to our systems to enable us to help you get up and running quickly.
A telephone adapter box supplied, pre-configured, by aql® will cost you £86 + vat (including UK postage
+ packing). To order, please log in and then follow the order hardware link.
You do not have to purchase an adapter from us directly - there are several devices on the market.
Please follow the links for more information (note - by providing these links, aql® does not make any
warranty or recommendation regarding any one particular product).
