Geographic Number Porting Charges

From September 1st 2007, aql® will be charging a fixed administration fee to our partners for each successful porting order completed.

Port Type

Costs

Single Line Port

£15 +VAT

Multi Line Port

£30 +VAT

10 or Less DDI Range

£75 +VAT

11+ DDI Range

£125 +VAT

Note: The line type is determined by your provider you are porting from. ie if the line is an isdn30 with 100 DDI's, the partner will be charged the £125 fee by aql®, irrespective of the number of DDI's ported over.

Non Geographic Number Porting Charges

All Non Geographic number ports are charged at a flat fee of £15 +VAT per number.

Non Geographical ports have to be processed manually, and as such lead times on these types of ports are longer than a standard Geographical port. Times can vary depending on the amount of Non geographical ports you submit and/or the internal processes of the losing communications provider.

Penalty Charges

aql® are introducing an online ordering system to automate initial validation of porting requests and consequently speed up aql® lead times.

90% of all porting orders submitted to aql® provisioning are being rejected because:

  • Insufficient information is submitted by the partner
  • Inaccurate information is provided by the partner
  • Illegible information is provided by the partner
  • Requests for information not returned from partner within stated timeframes, causing order to fail

any rejections which need to be dealt with manually will be charged for, as these are labour intensive activities on the part of the aql® provisioning team.

Due to recent changes the prices for resubmission of a port have changed. Now when you need to resubmit a port you will be charged the full porting fee for that line type. See top of this page for porting fees.
